Leading with CARE Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Leading with CARE ("we", "our", "us").

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, memberships, programmes, courses, webinars, community spaces, resources and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase memberships, programmes or services from Leading with CARE. Where access is provided through a school, organisation or employer, additional eligibility requirements may apply.

2. Account Registration

To access certain services, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current and complete information.
• Maintain the security of your login credentials.
• Keep your account information up to date.
• Accept responsibility for all activity conducted under your account.

Membership accounts are intended for individual use only and must not be shared with others.

3. Memberships and Programme Access

Memberships and programme purchases provide access to the content and resources included within the selected membership level or programme.

Access may be suspended or withdrawn where:

• Payments are not maintained.
• These Terms are breached.
• Community standards are repeatedly violated.
• Account sharing is identified.

We reserve the right to update, improve, replace or remove content as part of the ongoing development of our services.

4. Programme Changes

Leading with CARE reserves the right to update, modify, replace or remove content, resources, presenters, guest speakers, programme structures, schedules and delivery methods where reasonably necessary. We will endeavour to minimise disruption and provide reasonable notice where significant changes are required.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our website and services lawfully, respectfully and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or accounts.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the platform.
• Use our services for unlawful purposes.
• Upload malicious software or harmful content.
• Share offensive, discriminatory, abusive or unlawful content.
• Harass, intimidate or bully other members.
• Promote external products, services or businesses without permission.

6. Community Standards

Leading with CARE aims to provide a safe, supportive and professional learning environment.

Members agree to:

• Treat others with respect and professionalism.
• Respect differing views and experiences.
• Engage in constructive discussion.
• Contribute positively to the community.
• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other members.

Members must not:

• Harass, intimidate or bully other members.
• Use community spaces to market products or services.
• Recruit members into external programmes, memberships or communities.
• Collect contact details from members for commercial purposes.
• Use the community for spam, solicitation or unauthorised promotion.

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend access or terminate memberships where behaviour is inconsistent with these standards.

7. Confidentiality

Participants may share personal experiences, reflections, professional challenges and learning experiences within programmes, webinars and community spaces. Whilst Leading with CARE cannot guarantee the conduct of individual participants, members agree to treat information shared by others with respect and confidentiality. Information shared within the community should not be copied, distributed or disclosed outside the community without the individual's permission.

8. Intellectual Property

All content made available through Leading with CARE remains our exclusive intellectual property.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• The CARE Framework
• Courses and programmes
• Workbooks and worksheets
• Assessments and surveys
• Videos and audio recordings
• Podcasts
• Webinars and presentations
• Downloadable resources
• Community resources
• Leadership models and methodologies
• Written content
• Graphics and branding
• Logos and trademarks

All copyright, trademark and intellectual property rights relating to Leading with CARE content, materials, frameworks, branding and methodologies are reserved. Nothing within these Terms grants ownership of any intellectual property to members, participants or organisations accessing our services. Members are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to access content solely for their own personal learning and professional development.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce or distribute content.
• Share resources with non-members.
• Upload materials to external websites or platforms.
• Record webinars, workshops or live sessions.
• Share screenshots, downloads or member-only content publicly.
• Remove copyright notices or branding.
• Adapt, teach, licence or commercialise our content without written permission.
• Present Leading with CARE intellectual property as your own work.
• Use our content to create competing courses, programmes or services.

Any breach of this section may result in immediate termination of access and may result in legal action where appropriate.

9. Organisational Use

Unless expressly agreed in writing, membership access and programme enrolment are provided on an individual licence basis. Purchase by an individual does not grant access rights to colleagues, teams, departments or organisations. Organisational licences, team access and corporate training arrangements must be agreed separately with Leading with CARE.

10. Account Sharing

Membership access is provided to the registered individual only. Sharing login credentials, allowing another person to access your account or distributing member-only content is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where account sharing is identified.

11. Payments and Refunds

Where fees apply, payment must be made in accordance with the payment terms displayed at the time of purchase. Due to the digital nature of our memberships, courses and downloadable resources, refunds are generally not available once access has been granted, unless required by applicable consumer law. Subscription memberships may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation prevents future payments from being taken but does not automatically entitle members to a refund for payments already made.

12. Educational Disclaimer

Leading with CARE provides educational, leadership development and personal development content. Our programmes, resources, webinars, community discussions and learning materials are intended for educational purposes only.

They do not constitute:

• Medical advice
• Mental health treatment
• Psychological therapy
• Counselling
• Legal advice
• Financial advice

No specific outcomes, personal results or professional achievements are guaranteed. Participants remain responsible for their own decisions, actions and implementation of any learning.

13. Reflection and Wellbeing

Some programmes, discussions and learning activities may involve self-reflection, personal insight, leadership challenges, behavioural awareness, emotional responses and discussion of personal experiences. Participation is entirely voluntary. By participating in our services, you acknowledge that you remain responsible for your own wellbeing, decisions, actions and responses to any learning activities undertaken. If at any time you feel that additional support is required, we encourage you to seek assistance from an appropriately qualified professional.

14. Limitation of Liability

Leading with CARE will exercise reasonable skill and care in the delivery of its services. Nothing within these Terms excludes liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
• Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to the above, our total liability arising from any programme, membership or service shall not exceed the total amount paid by the participant for that programme, membership or service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leading with CARE shall not be liable for:

• Indirect losses.
• Consequential losses.
• Loss of profit.
• Loss of business opportunity.
• Loss of revenue.
• Loss of goodwill.

15. Force Majeure

Leading with CARE shall not be liable for any delay, interruption or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Illness.
• Internet or technology failures.
• Platform outages.
• Venue issues.
• Government restrictions.
• Industrial disputes.
• Travel disruption.
• Natural disasters.
• Other unforeseen events beyond our control.

Where reasonably possible, alternative arrangements will be made.

16. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our services without notice where:

• These Terms are breached.
• Intellectual property is misused.
• Account sharing occurs.
• Community standards are repeatedly violated.
• Fraudulent, unlawful or harmful activity is identified.

Termination may occur without refund where a breach of these Terms has occurred.

17. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our website and services, you consent to the collection and processing of personal information as described within that policy.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
